Community involvement
Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.
Community Cookbook
To help showcase the families that make up our wonderful community, we are excited to be creating the “Bald Face Community Cookbook” as our school fundraiser this year.
Our cookbook captures recipes and traditions that bring together people, cultures and stories that make this community special.
We are seeking a recipe from each family for inclusion in the 100+ page cookbook and would love the support of local businesses too. To offer your support and get involved with our project, email BaldFacePSPCFundraising@gmail.com

Complete our P&C's Google Form with your recipe, or we can provide hard copies in the front office if you’d prefer to handwrite it.
Please make sure to include a little blurb about your child’s name/school year and/or why this recipe was submitted.
Please share a photo of the final recipe, with a guide on how to take photos below.

Please note: All graphics and logos need to be supplied by the supporter.
Please ensure lots of soft, natural lighting (avoid flash)
Shoot in RAW format or highest 300dpi for high quality printing if possible
Focus on texture: side lighting works best to highlight food texture and dimension
Plating: focus on the ‘hero’ part of the dish to display, adding garnish for colour
Minimal props: use simple, relevant props
Angle selection:
- 45 degree - ideal for capturing viewer’s perspective
- Flatlay (top down) - excellent for pizzas, smoothies, bowls of food
- Straight on - best for showing height in sandwiches or stacked cakes/pancakes
Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)
Our P&C is a group of parents, carers and school community members. They assist with school planning, fundraising, events and volunteering. Our P&C works in partnership with our school to promote the interests of our school community.
Joining the P&C a great way to meet other families, get involved and contribute to our school's future. We would love to have you on board!

P&C meetings
P&C meetings occur once a term in the school library or online. Meeting dates are advertised in our School Bytes calendar once they have been determined.
Volunteer at our school
Helping out at school is a great way to get involved in your school community.
Volunteer opportunities include:
- helping in the canteen or school uniform shop
- getting involved in the P&C
- listening to children read in the classroom
- volunteering on sports days and other school events
- helping supervise excursions.
