Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

Bald Face Public School is a small, genuinely multicultural K–6 school on the beautiful shores of the Georges River, just south of Blakehurst. With around 250 students, children are known and valued by their teachers and by each other, creating a strong sense of belonging.

Our students achieve consistently strong results in reading, writing and numeracy. Behind this success is a collaborative staff who plan together, examine student learning and continually refine their practice. Teachers differentiate learning across the curriculum, providing targeted individual and small-group support alongside high-quality whole-class instruction.

Our programs are enriched by community languages, specialist teachers, sport, creative arts and opportunities for students to develop confidence, friendships and a sense of connection to their school.

Families are important partners in this work. We listen to parents and carers and value their contribution to decisions that shape our school.

Together, we strive to make Bald Face Public School a place that inspires excellence and where every child feels they belong.

As Principal, I am always delighted to meet prospective families and show them around our school. You are always very welcome.

Dr Neil Lavitt,  Principal of Bald Face Public School
