Who should I contact?
Choose a topic below. Our office can help you find the right person.
Explain what happened, when it happened and what you would like help with. Include your child's name and class, and a way for the school to contact you.
The school can explain who will consider the concern and what will happen next. If your concern involves the principal, use the department's feedback information to find the appropriate contact.
You can send a message at a time that suits your family. Staff are not expected to answer routine messages outside their working hours.
For a time-sensitive school-day matter, phone the office during its published opening hours.
When you can expect a reply
Routine enquiries
At Bald Face Public School, we aim to review and resolve routine enquiries within 2 school days.
If your enquiry needs more time, we will respond within that period to explain the next steps and when you can expect an update.
School days exclude weekends, public holidays and school holidays.
Teachers may be teaching or supporting students, so they may not be able to reply straightaway. We follow the School Community Charter and its expectation of timely, polite and informative communication.
For a time-sensitive school-day matter, phone our office on 9546 1565 during office hours.
Complaints
For complaints handled under the department's Community complaint procedures, the expected timeframes are:
- Receipt acknowledged: within 3 business days.
- Complaint finalised: within 20 business days.
An acknowledgement confirms that we have received your complaint. It does not mean the matter has been resolved.
Weekends, public holidays and holiday periods do not count as business days.
These timeframes may vary because of the complexity of the concern, staff availability or other individual circumstances. The person managing your complaint must keep you updated, explain any delay and tell you when to expect more information.
Some concerns need to be managed under another process. We will explain which process applies.
