Music

Junior and Senior Bands (Years 4-6 students)

Bald Face School provides a band program for students in years 4-6. More competent musicians move from the Junior band program into the senior band. After Year 1 students may purchase their own instruments or hire instruments owned and maintained by the school. Instruments include brass, woodwind and percussion.

Members of the bandsĀ  attend individual lessons either at school or privately and must attend band rehearsals. Band practice is held before school.

Bald Face enjoys an outstanding reputation for excellence in this area and students enjoy the opportunity to perform atĀ  school functions including Education Week celebrations at school and at the local shopping centre. Additionally, the band features in Showcase during term 4. Showcase is a celebration of student's work in the performing arts.

Junior and Senior Choir (Years 2-6 students)

Junior Choir is for students in Year 2 and is guided by the creative hands of Mrs Sandra McCarthy. They meet once a week before the school day and enjoy the experience of singing a variety of songs in different genre.
