Wellbeing
At our school, student wellbeing and learning go hand in hand. We want every student to feel safe, included and ready to learn. Whether your child needs help with their mental, emotional, social or physical wellbeing, we are here to help them thrive at school and in daily life.
How we support student wellbeing
Supporting each student’s mental, emotional, social and physical wellbeing is part of everyday school life.
We do this through:
- teachers who help students feel welcome and included
- access to school counsellors, school psychologists and specialist staff
- programs that support health, social skills, attendance and positive behaviour
- help for students who are new or changing year levels
- clear expectations for behaviour and respectful relationships
- staff who get to know each child and work closely with families
- developing health care plans for students
- open communication about wellbeing and support.

Health at school
Contact our office to discuss your child's health support needs and the arrangements they may need during school activities.
Check NSW Health's school exclusion guidance for the illness or condition. Some infections have a specific period before a child can return.
Seek medical advice if you are unsure about your child's health. Explain any absence through School Bytes or contact our office. See our attendance guidance and bell times.
Contact our office to arrange medication support. Complete our Student Health Support and Administration of Medication form in School Bytes and provide the relevant medical information.
Supply medicine in its original packaging or a pharmacist-prepared blister pack. Ask the office to confirm how you should provide your child's medicine to the school.
Tell the school and provide current advice from your child's treating health professional. We will discuss the support needed during classes and school activities.
Let us know whenever the advice or your child's needs change.
Contact our office before the activity to discuss your child's health support needs. Complete the activity's consent information and let the school know about any changes to your child's medicine or health plan.
The school will confirm how your child's health support will be managed during the activity.
